Ken McArthur's Survey
For anyone who filled out Ken McArthur's survey today, and didn't realize the real value of the survey, I thought I would make a little post here.
In question #4 Ken asks people what parts of creating an information product they would like to outsource. And then it gives you options.
Those options that you can check ARE the blueprint for creating an information product and getting it sold on the Internet. There are perhaps some other steps, but Mr. McArthur actually provides the actual steps, in order, for creating an informational product.
So I've decided to re-post them here.
Now bear in mind that these are not the "How-To's" of each step. Rather, they are the steps. There are a billion different how-to's that could fit into this equation, so this isn't going to solve the math problem for you, but here are the steps to creating your own product and effectively marketing it online.
Niche Market Research and Analysis
Writing content
Feasibility, Pricing and Competitive Analysis
Graphics
Copywriting
Domain Name Research, Registration
Creation of your own Payment Processing Account
Website Design
Package Design
Fulfillment
Press Releases
Article Creation
Autoresponder Setup
Autoresponder Copywriting
Search Engine Optimization
Pay-Per-Click Campaigns
Traffic Generation
Joint Venture Partner Development
Advertising Campaigns
Affiliate Development and Management
Customer Service
Tracking Services
Outsource one or all of these, or do all of them yourself, but once you put together the picture of these steps, you can create any product you want to (as long as there is an audience for it - and, as said before, there generally is an audience for anything), and turn it into an effective venture online.
Thanks Mr. McArthur, for providing this blueprint.
